Bio
Trevor Burkhart was named the 51st field manager in Clinton LumberKings history in 2025. A Davenport, Iowa native, Burkhart is deeply connected to the organization as both a former player and coach. He spent two seasons (2022–23) as a standout outfielder for Clinton in the Prospect League, where his speed and energy made him one of the league’s most dynamic players, finishing with 84 hits, 52 stolen bases, and 83 runs scored over his career.
After his playing days, Burkhart transitioned to coaching, serving as the LumberKings’ third base coach for two seasons while also working as an assistant coach at Louisiana State University–Shreveport. Known for his leadership, player development skills, and baseball IQ, Burkhart now takes the helm as manager to guide the next generation of LumberKings talent.
