Chicago Snowballs to Bring “Banana Ball-Style” Experience to Clinton in Summer 2026
CLINTON, Iowa — The Chicago Snowballs, pro baseball’s first co-ed sportstainment team, will bring their high-energy, entertainment-first brand of baseball to NelsonCorp Field for two games on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, 2026, in partnership with the Clinton LumberKings.
The Snowballs’ visit marks part of the team’s inaugural Midwest tour during their debut season. Blending professional baseball with live entertainment, circus arts, music, and fan interaction, the Chicago Snowballs offer a fast-paced, two-hour experience inspired by the Savannah Bananas and Harlem Globetrotters.

The Chicago Snowballs are billed as pro baseball’s first co-ed sportstainment experience, featuring male and female player-performers who combine athletic skill with unique talents such as gymnastics, music, and juggling. Players receive equal pay regardless of gender, along with salary and profit sharing.
